Sweet Deal01/16/2011
After purchasing an HD camcorder from Best Buy I quickly learned there is a BIG difference between HDSD cards. I was completely unfamiliar with the Wintech name and was hesitant at first. I am glad I got past that as this video card is an excellent device that saved me a bundle. You will not find a better price for the size. I have used it a lot and the results are great. As with ALL HDSD or USB storage devices, you must be VERY carefull when removing them from the device they are being used with. Simply pulling them out of the slot with out first properly disconnecting them in most cases WILL TRASH THE CARD! When downloading to my computer from my camcorder I simply use the usb cable that came with the device rather than removing the SD card from the camera and putting it directly in my computer. To erase the data on the card I just use the cameras format option.
Budget Class 10 Card03/17/2012
I have another more expensive Lexar Class 10 Card that I use for video and stills on my digital SLR. I decided after some time that since I take so many pics, it might be a good idea to get a secondary card that I can primarily use for still images. This card came highly recommended from many online sites and it was at a great price here at walmart.com so I picked it up.
I had never heard of wintec all that much, but their card seems to be holding up just fine. I'm mostly using it for stills and its fast and responsive so the class 10 rating is justified. I haven't used it all that much for video, but based on some reviews here, I think it will do just fine.
If you need a great budget card for stills that can read and write at snappy speeds, especially if you have a digital SLR, look no further. This card can get the job done. I might even pick up another one of these because the price is too darn good to pass up. Highly recommended!

This class 10 (10MBps) memory card cost less than any class 6 I could find anywhere, which is the minimum speed recommended for HD movies. Many of the lower class cards ie. class 2 or 4 don't advertise the speed and it seems like most people don't know the difference, even the salesmen at the stores. I only learned by researching online. Class 2 or 4 are ok for non-HD apparently and spending the extra money for the higher class is not worth the money in the case of non-HD. Many people do complain of problems though when they try to use class 2 or 4 in HD equipment. This class 10 card works great in my Sony HD Handycam. Again, I would have only gone with the class 6, but this one was less than any I could find on line or in stores and works great so it seems like a great bargain.
